I reside in Melbourne Beach, Florida. My joys include raising toddlers, writing poetry and dialogue, the beach, singing, storytelling, piano and reading. My writing objective is to challenge myself through rhyme and reason, or the lack thereof.

Poem written after staying at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, CA.
Gardenous
A dress folded in a shredded suitcase Remains wrinkle free. The drapery begins to unravel the tweed Like ancient horsehair the seams break Like chimes Allowing a silky sweep of patina to Plunge Expand Cascade down like a curtain. A koi kisses the common carp Quartz overcomes granite Petals swirl in silent water Budda winks at a billboard Fossils dance till The tempest locks the latch Swallowing the garden whole As the suitcase limps away Rust free.
