An inextinguishable cross on burning coals
A wet crosswalk on a Sunday afternoon
An empty pale sky above smoky reality
A fallacy in search of frailty in search of tranquility

An inextinguishable cross on burning coals
A wet crosswalk on a Sunday afternoon
An empty pale sky above smoky reality
A fallacy in search of frailty in search of tranquility
A black, hallow shell of us in December
A Sunday rain sweeping away burning memories
A Sunday rain washing away the soot-sins of the father
A weeping widow covered by grey blankets
A coal-colored adulterer covered by black canvas
An angel-haired priestess offering comfort
A raven-haired marshal asking questions
A moment of triumph
A moment to myself
