He chapbook, Chin-Chin in Eden, won the Moonfire Poetry Chapbook Competition for 2003, and was recently published by Still Waters Press.         The old women sing of love.
        They sing of love.
        In the shade a dog checks itself,
        carefully, a judicious
        tongue. And I am left without
        you these fifteen years...

        The old women sing of love.
        They sing of love.
        In the shade a dog checks itself,
        carefully, a judicious
        tongue. And I am left without
        you these fifteen years...
        Squinting because it's so bright.
        Almost hearing the words
        to the songs they are singing.
