        Now, again
        The snow begins to fall.
        I call to you,
But you do not answer me.
        Soldiers fall.
        Was it worth it?

        Now, again
        The snow begins to fall.
        I call to you,
But you do not answer me.
        Soldiers fall.
        Was it worth it?
You do not know the answer now.
        But future generations will.
For they will think of you.
        Not by name
But they will think of you
When they hear the bells proclaim,
        Now again
The cherry blossoms begin to fall,
        I call to you
But you do not answer me.
        Soldiers fall.
