If a clock symbolizes Time, what does Time
symbolize, our demise? If you say our lives
are monotony's metonym, then what gives
change its sound? Can't sounding out a perfect rhyme

If a clock symbolizes Time, what does Time
symbolize, our demise? If you say our lives
are monotony's metonym, then what gives
change its sound? Can't sounding out a perfect rhyme

refer only to itself? Why can't I crack
a statue, break a mirror, swing a hammer
and not imply Time, Bad Luck, and Power? Are
there any tick-tocks which won't evoke a clock?

The claw pulls down the frame into the gate where
it's exposed with a shutter and gone. A black
hole is clear (or white) in negative ; a star

however would make the silver crystals cake
together, black. Instead develop raw stock.
Light projects on, but not through it: it's opaque.
